Joanna Connolly – Solicitor Advocate – Consumer Credit Litigation Specialist
Joanna Connolly (LLB Hons) is a Solicitor Advocate, with Higher Rights of Audience who is qualified to represent clients as an Advocate in the higher courts in England and Wales. Joanna is well known in courts throughout the country as an expert in the complex field of consumer credit law. Joanna is highly experienced and passionate about helping people which is reflected in her exceptionally high success rate. Joanna had conduct of the lead Section 78 Consumer Credit Act 1974 High Court case Carey v HSBC Bank Plc [2009] EWHC 3417 (QB). When Joanna isn’t fighting for consumer’s rights, she loves cruising around the world. Joanna is also Chair of the Solicitors Sole Practitioner Group (SPG).
Michele Susan Henderson – Wills and Estate Planning Consultant
Highly experienced private client lawyer with specialist qualification in trust and estates (full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)). Trained with niche law firm in Chester, followed by 12 years’ experience with LEXCEL accredited medium sized city centre firm. Warm, willing to listen to help you create all important later life planning documents such as Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Chief examiner for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) on Level 6 Wills & Succession papers, Level 3 Wills paper and teacher with Law Academy on CILEX level 6 probate practice module. Gerard Jemitus – Litigation Executive
Gerard has years of experience in technology, primarily computing and telecoms, in a range of roles including technical, marketing and consulting. He has worked for a number of American based computer companies and been involved with many of the largest blue-chip companies in the UK. Gerry joined the team in 2015, as a Litigation Executive and also assumes responsibility for ensuring we make best use of the available technology and systems. When not working, Gerry loves driving fast cars and flying light aircraft – although he hasn’t done the latter for quite some time.
Sam Audley – Office Manager
Sam comes from a background of law and property management and has great all-round knowledge and experience. Sam joined us in 2018 and certainly keeps us on our toes. When not managing the firm and the Team, Sam enjoys spending time reading, listening to music and loves travelling to the Lake District and Scotland on holiday.
Colin Eyres
Colin is a long standing valued member of the Team, who helps to keep things running smoothly. There is nothing that Colin cannot turn his hand to. Outside work, Colin loves spending time with his family and his dogs.
